Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy explains how the Orcha Chat Pro subscription is billed, how to cancel it, and when money is returned. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions; where the two describe the same thing, this page is the more specific statement.

1. What is being sold

Orcha Chat Pro is a monthly subscription costing ₹599 per month (approximately $7). It raises the daily limits to 200 messages and 50 document uploads, unlocks the Notebook and Studio workspaces, keeps document memory for 90 days, and works on up to 3 devices managed by a main device. The Free plan and the 5-question guest trial cost nothing and are always available — we recommend using them to decide whether Pro suits you before subscribing.

2. Billing

Payments are collected by Razorpay (UPI, cards and netbanking). Subscribing sets up a recurring mandate that charges ₹599 at the start of each monthly cycle until you cancel. Your access period and renewal date are shown in Settings.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, and you never need to contact us to do it:

Cancelling stops all future charges. Pro access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for — cancelling on day 3 of a month does not cut you off on day 3 — and the account then returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted when Pro ends: your conversations, documents and settings stay exactly as they are, subject to Free plan limits.

4. Refunds

Because Pro is a monthly digital service that is delivered immediately and can be tried for free beforehand, charges already taken are generally not refunded. You keep the access you paid for until the period ends.

We do refund in full, without argument, in these cases:

If you are outside these cases but believe your situation is unfair, write to us anyway and explain. We would rather look at it than have you feel cheated.

Nothing here limits any right to a refund that you have under Indian consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where the law grants you a remedy, the law wins.

5. How to request a refund, and how long it takes

Email billing@orchachat.com from the address on your account, with the payment date and the Razorpay payment ID if you have it. We aim to respond within 2 working days and to decide within 5 working days.

When a refund is approved it is issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Razorpay typically returns the money within 5 to 7 working days; your bank or card issuer may take a little longer to show it. We will confirm by email when the refund has been initiated.

6. Failed and pending payments

If a scheduled payment fails, Razorpay retries it. Pro stays active through a short grace period so a late UPI autopay does not interrupt work in progress. If the payment ultimately does not go through, the account returns to the Free plan — no amount is owed and nothing is deleted.

If money has left your account but Pro has not activated, wait a few minutes — activation depends on a confirmation from your bank, and Pro switches on by itself once it arrives. If it has still not activated after an hour, email billing@orchachat.com and we will fix it or refund it.
